Welcome to Oman. Upon arrival at Muscat International Airport, meet the local representative outside the baggage hall area. Sit back and relax as you are transferred by shared coach to your hotel. After check-in, the rest of the day is at leisure.

After breakfast, proceed on a guided city tour of Muscat with licensed and experienced tour guides. The tour begins with a visit to the Royal Opera House, followed by the Grand Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. 

Continue to the Natural History Museum and then drive to the Al Alam Palace. Enjoy a scenic drive along the Corniche waterfront and conclude with a visit to Muttrah Souq.

After breakfast, begin a scenic coastal journey towards Wahiba Sands. En route, visit the Bimah Sinkhole, a natural limestone crater filled with blue-green seawater. Continue to Finns Beach, known for its white sands and clear waters, followed by a drive through the lush canyon of Wadi Tiwi. 

Proceed to Sur to visit the traditional dhow-building yard. Later, head to Wahiba Sands for dune bashing, interaction with Bedouin communities, and sunset views from the dunes.

After breakfast, proceed to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman’s most popular wadis, where you can relax by clear natural pools surrounded by palm trees. (Note: bikinis are not allowed; guests should wear modest swimwear.) Continue via Ibra to visit Jibreen Castle, one of Oman’s finest castles, known for its ceiling paintings and intricate wood carvings. 

Enjoy a photo stop at Bahla Fort before visiting Misfah village, famous for its falaj irrigation system. Later, drive up to Jebel Shams, Oman’s highest mountain and home to the Grand Canyon viewpoints.

• Photo stop at Bahla Fort


• Visit to Misfah village and the falaj system


• Drive to Jebel Shams mountain

Start early in the morning to visit the famous Nizwa Friday Cattle Market (operates on Fridays), where livestock trading takes place in a traditional setting. 

Visit the Nizwa Fort, built atop a hill overlooking the ancient city, followed by time at the Nizwa Souq. Later, drive back to Muscat via Birkat Al Mouz, known for its centuries-old irrigation system still in use today.

• Return to Muscat
