Rise early for the adventurous day
Leave by 8:00 AM for Ninh Binh (~2 hrs), also known as “Halong Bay on Land.”
Hop on a sampan boat and glide through Tam Coc’s cave tunnels, it’s like rowing through a movie set!
Later, grab some cycles and ride through rice paddies and local villages.
Climb up to the Bich Dong Pagoda, tucked inside a cave, and visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu.
Drive back to Hanoi by evening (~2 hrs). Chill, grab a few drinks at Ta Hien Street — Hanoi’s famous beer corner — and call it a night!
